Predictions, odds and tips for Rockets vs. Timberwolves

Predictions, odds and tips for Rockets vs. Timberwolves

This Houston team probably shouldn’t lose to a team like Portland like they did last game – especially after handily beating them the game before. Still, the Rockets have been solid for the most part this season with a record of 12-6. This also applies to terrible shootings. If they can maintain their strong defense while improving their shooting ability – and they should – this team could have a lot more to offer this season.

Minnesota has lost its last two games and is now 8-8. Point guard Mike Conley missed the last game and is currently day-to-day. The fact that they almost won in Boston without him could mean that this team is on the verge of a turnaround. Rookie guard Rob Dillingham scored 14 points off the bench, turning heads in his second unit. This team just doesn’t have much life on some nights, even with high flyer Anthony Edwards. Houston is a team the league wants to believe in. I think so too, but they are inconsistent. While they’ve been solid in underdog roles this season, I’m not sure I want to put my money on them here. Minnesota is far from a sure thing, but it should have no trouble covering that short spread tonight.

Rockets vs Timberwolves Prediction: Minnesota -3.5 (-110) available at time of publication. Playable under this number.
