Jenn Tran “started sobbing” after learning she won’t be on the DWTS tour

The cast of Dancing with the stars will be going on tour next year, but Jenn Tran will not join them.

“I got a call about the tour and I’m not going on tour, which is really sad because I really wanted to go,” Tran, 26, revealed in an Instagram video shared on Wednesday, November 20. “I felt like with the tour I was able to sustain that feeling a little longer and capture that dance moment that I had.”

The Bachelorette alum said she “started sobbing” when she received the news, which felt “so silly.” She explained: “I’m crying because I can’t dance, even though two months ago I didn’t even know I liked dancing.”

Tran looked at joining in 2025 Dancing with the Stars: Live! tour as “one last opportunity for me to perform,” noting that she grew to love the “performance aspect” of dance during her time on the ABC competition series.

“I can still take dance classes, which I will, but the performance aspect of it is and I’m putting on a live show for so many people and just dancing with all these people Dancing with the stars And as far as the whole family aspect, it’s just sad that it really, really just ended for me,” she said. “It’s okay. I just need to take a little moment.”

Despite their ending DWTS Tran remains positive about the journey. “You know the saying, ‘Don’t cry because it’s over.’ Smile because it happened.’ And it’s really true. I literally had the best two months of my life dancing,” she said in the Instagram upload, before asking fans for recommendations for dance studios in Los Angeles and Miami.

Tran joined in DWTS Season 33 cast shortly after their dramatic split from Devin Strader aired during The Bachelorette Season 21 finale in September. Earlier this month, Tran said she “would love nothing more” than to be a part of it DWTS Tour. “How much fun is it to go on tour with your boyfriend?” Tish Cyrus was teased on the Nov. 14 episode of the “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, referencing romance rumors between Tran and Farber, 40. Tran responded, “Oh God. If you say boyfriend, he’ll freak out.”

In a recent TikTok upload, Tran joked that she went through a midlife crisis “for a hot second.” DWTS Exit. “Honestly, I’m not going to lie. “I may have been a dramatic slash, I just loved being on the show so much, so it was really hard to go from literally dancing all the time to suddenly not dancing anymore the next day,” she shared.

She compared her exit to “a breakup” and added: “I felt like I had broken up with dancing and didn’t know if it would bring me back or not. “It’s like breaking up with someone , because you are in constant contact with him every day and the next day he is no longer there. The Dancing with the Stars: Live! The tour begins January 7, 2025 in Richmond, Virginia and travels to 68 cities across the U.S. before concluding in LA on April 5, 2025. It has not been announced which of these seasons it will be DWTS Celebrities will make special appearances in select cities during the tour.
