The Mega Millions jackpot neared half a billion dollars on Tuesday after no one took home the big prize on Friday.

If someone draws the lucky numbers on Tuesday, they will win a jackpot of $489 million, with a cash option of $229.3 million after taxes.

The winning numbers were drawn just after 11 p.m. ET and USA TODAY has the results below.

In March, a lucky Mega Millions player from New Jersey won a whopping $1.1 billion. Although this prize has not yet been claimed, the lottery says it is not the first time a jackpot has gone unclaimed.

Has anyone won Mega Millions?

No one won the Mega Millions jackpot, but two lucky lottery players in California won the $1 million Match 5 prize and another person in Louisiana tripled their Match 5 winnings with Megaplier.

How to play Mega Millions

To purchase a ticket, you’ll need to visit your local supermarket, gas station, or convenience store – and in a few states you can purchase tickets online.

To play you must select six numbers. Five numbers are white balls ranging from 1 to 70. The gold mega ball is a number between 1 and 25.
