Juventus fans were seen pulling a ploy to poach Aston Villa fans ahead of their Champions League game on Thursday morning (AEDT).

With both teams at Villa Park needing three points to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League, Juve fans have tried to go the extra mile to give their team an advantage.

Aston Villa is based in the English city of Birmingham. League One club Birmingham City, which last played in the Premier League in 2011, also plays in the region.
