Taylor Hall’s hat trick leads the Blackhawks to their first three-game point streak

Nov. 28 – Taylor Hall scored his fifth career hat trick to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 6-2 win over the visiting Dallas Stars on Wednesday night.

It was Hall’s first hat trick since December 5, 2013, when he played for the Edmonton Oilers in an 8-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Louis Crevier scored his first NHL goal, Connor Bedard and Teuvo Teravainen also scored, Tyler Bertuzzi had two assists and Petr Mrazek made 25 saves for the Blackhawks, who have points in three straight games for the first time this season (2-0 ). 1).

Colin Blackwell and Matt Duchene scored and Casey DeSmith made 20 saves for the Stars, who have gone 12-6 in their last two games.

Hall gave the Blackhawks the lead 17 seconds into the game with a wrist shot from the left circle to cap off a rush and end a 13-game scoreless streak.

Hall doubled his scoring output this season when he redirected a pass from in front of the goal crease to make it 2-0 at 5:43 of the first period.

Chicago was still on a power play early in the second period when Bedard sent a wrist shot from the right circle into the top right corner of the net after 41 seconds for a 3-0 lead. This ended his own 12-game scoreless streak.

After Teravainen made it 4-0 at 3:06 seconds, Dallas scored 35 seconds later when Mrazek lost sight of a loose puck in the goal crease and Blackwell shot it into the net, making it 4-1.

Hall completed the hat trick when he scored on a one-timer from the inside edge of the left circle shortly after the end of a power play, making it 5-1 at 8:42 of the second minute.

Crevier, playing in his 26th NHL game, scored a delayed penalty early on to make it 6-1 at 13:18 of the second minute and give Chicago its highest goal total of the season.

The Stars were 1-for-18 on the power play in the previous six games, plus three power plays on Wednesday when Duchene scored with the man advantage to cut it to 6-2 at 13:43 of the third period.
