What happened to Jalen Williams? OKC medical staff rush to the court after the 23-year-old star took a serious fall against the Warriors

Jalen Williams suffered a painful blow to the face during the OKC Thunder’s game against the Warriors when Jonathan Kuminga hit him in the eye with his offhand while attempting a dunk. Williams was visibly shaken and remained on the ground for several moments as Thunder medical staff quickly rushed to his aid.

After a brief period of daze, Williams, aided by team staff, slowly left the field with 36 seconds left in the first half and headed to the locker room to be evaluated. The collision occurred during a fast-paced sequence in which JK recovered from a rocky start to score eight points in the second quarter.

Despite the setback, Williams appeared to bounce back shortly after the incident. The Thunder will likely wait for further updates on his condition. In 16 minutes, Williams scored 13 points, six assists and rebounds.

Interestingly, Jalen Williams made a bit of history along the way as the 23-year-old passed James Harden to take 11th place on Oklahoma’s all-time points list. Currently, Williams has a total of 2,800 points, while “The Beard” moved up to 12 with 2,787.

Now let’s get back to the status of the young forward/guard; Unfortunately he is not on the field at the start of the second half. 21-year-old guard Cason Wallace took his place for the third quarter.
