Paul Bissonnette is attacked by six men in a restaurant in Arizona

Paul Bissonnette is used to competing against guys on the ice, but over the weekend the former NHL player and Barstool Sports star had to throw down at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.

According to multiple reports, Bissonnette, who also serves as a studio analyst for TNT’s NHL coverage, was attacked by six men at Houston’s restaurant on Sunday night.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. local time and led to the arrest of six men on assault and disorderly conduct charges, according to Fox 10.

“There was an altercation in the restaurant between six adult men and management. Paul Bissonnette reportedly tried to help management calm the men down and get them to leave. “The situation escalated when the men attacked Paul Bissonnette both inside and outside the restaurant,” Scottsdale Police Sgt. Allison Sempsis told the outlet.

Bissonnette’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening and he was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
