Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade turned into a “circus” after Al Roker’s microphone mistake and Jimmy Fallon’s outfit choice.

MACY’S Thanksgiving Day Parade has been labeled a “circus” after disruptions by protesters and bizarre behavior from the iconic event’s hosts left spectators unimpressed.

Spectators watching the 98th annual parade live were quick to point out mistakes from stars like Jimmy Fallon and Al Roker as the festivities continued on a rainy day in New York City.

The dismal parade disappointed spectators as it was disrupted by pro-Palestine protesters for the second year in a row, leading to several arrests by the New York Police Department.

Additionally, the chilly weather left Parader-goers stuck in the rain as balloons and floats appeared to float closer to the ground than usual.

However, the rain didn’t stop Fallon, the Tonight Show host, from wearing sunglasses as he kicked off the somber procession by riding on one of the iconic floats for the tenth time, despite telling people he was sitting through the waving in the threesome had tightened the golfer’s arm -hour parade in previous years.

“Sunglasses in the rain are the best thing Jimmy Fallon does,” one viewer wrote on X.

“This takes the circus to a whole new level,” another added.

NBC broadcast the parade, which was hosted by Today anchors Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Hoda Kotb.

This is Kotb’s final Thanksgiving Day parade as host of the Today show, after she announced in September that she would be leaving the show after six years as co-host.

ROKERS MIC PROBLEMS

But it wasn’t Kotb who caught everyone’s attention – viewers were furious when the 70-year-old Roker seemed unable to remember how to speak properly into his microphone – despite having been watching the parade moderated in 1995.

“Al Roker has been on TV my whole life and still can’t speak into a microphone lmao,” someone wrote on X.

“How come Al Roker has been doing this parade for 79 years and doesn’t know how to use a microphone?” another joked.

“Someone tell Al Roker to hold the microphone closer to his mouth when he speaks,” a third suggested.

Others were more sympathetic to Roker, branding him a national treasure on social media.

“NON-STOP SERVICES”

The parade included star-studded appearances from celebrities such as Idina Menzel and Jennifer Hudson, as well as appearances from Broadway performers.

However, viewers criticized the show for showing so many interviews and appearances while begging to get a glimpse of balloons and floats.

“The #MacysParade should feature: the balloons, the marching bands and the Rockettes,” one slammed.

“There were non-stop Broadway performances, why?? You see a balloon for 10 seconds before commercial breaks. Make the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade great again.”

Another outraged spectator called on the parade to “do better.”

“This parade is terrible. My kid was excited to see them for the first time, but we only saw a few seconds of floats,” the X user continued.

“Instead, it’s a series of interviews that people don’t care about, followed by five minutes of commercials.”

“Okay, where is the actual parade? The balloons, the floats, the brass bands? “So far, NBC has shown one Broadway musical performance after another and lots of commentary, but very little of the actual parade,” wrote another.

Another called the NBC show “the absolute worst parade coverage I’ve ever seen.”

“You see 15 seconds of the parade, then 5 minutes of talk from the presenters and a sideshow. We tuned in to watch the parade!” they added.

The parade features 34 impressive floats and 22 giant balloons, including a Minnie Mouse balloon for the first time in the parade.

The giant Bluey balloon even popped up after bursting and deflating while inflating ahead of the parade yesterday.
