“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” the latest series from a galaxy far, far away, is coming to Disney+ a day earlier than originally planned.

The eight-part show, led by Jude Law, will now premiere with the first two episodes on December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. (PT). Subsequent episodes will then be released on Tuesdays at the same time for the remainder of the season. The announcement was also accompanied by new key art for the series.

According to the official synopsis, “Skeleton Crew” follows “the journey of four children who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet and then become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy.” Finding their way home – and unexpected allies and enemies meet – will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.”

Law plays Jod Na Nawood, a Force user who is a possible Jedi. In his most recent diversity In the cover story, Law said making “Skeleton Crew” was a “really interesting process.”

“It’s technically complicated to do these things right – you’re dealing with animatronics and puppets and machines and huge, complicated worlds,” he said. “I’m the guy who wants to see how the wizard does it.”

The series also stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost. Episode directors include Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung.

Watts and Christopher Ford are head writers and also serve as executive producers alongside Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Co-executive producers include Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck, with Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki also producing.
