Wednesday night’s NHL slate includes a matchup between the Boston Bruins and the New York Islanders. Their power play is 3:18 in their last four games, resulting in relatively zero chances. The Bruins are just a tough opponent right now.

The Islanders also struggle in the offensive zone, allowing 2.45 goals per game, which is 29th in the league. The only team that has a worse power play unit than the Bruins is the Islanders, who score a power play goal 12.7% of the time. The Islanders also have a terrible penalty kill, just over 70%, which is second worst in the league. However, this shouldn’t matter as the Bruins have had a poor power play recently and the Islanders have the fewest penalties in the league.

This game was supposed to be boring, with very little action or scoring opportunities. I like the under in this game, with a goal or two ahead of me.
