Katie Holmes looked radiant and in good spirits as she arrived at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum flashed a mega smile, possibly in celebration Daughter Suri Cruise returns to New York for her college break before Thanksgiving.

Holmes was dressed casually yet stylishly, wearing a chic open-necked denim top that highlighted her cleavage and teamed it with black leggings.

She wore her signature auburn hair long and loose, accessorized with designer sunglasses and carried two oversized leather bags.

Her appearance came just hours after her daughter, 18-year-old Suri – whose father is movie star Tom Cruise – was spotted grabbing coffee in Brooklyn.

Suri, who is currently studying at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, is home for the holidays.

The Mission Impossible icon is reportedly contributing financially to Suri’s college tuition, although the actor hasn’t been seen publicly with his daughter in over a decade, fueling ongoing rumors of an estrangement.

Despite this, Suri maintains a close and supportive relationship with her mother.

The two were spotted together in New York City just last month when Suri visited her during her fall break from college.

Katie was married to Tom from 2006 to 2012 and the couple welcomed Suri in April 2006.

Since then, she has had custody of Suri, who has reportedly not had a relationship with her father since 2013.

Katie revealed that Suri recorded a cover of the song “Blue Moon” for her film “Alone Together,” a project the film star wrote, directed and starred in.

“She’s very, very talented.” “She said she would do it and she recorded it and I let her do her thing,” Holmes told Yahoo! Entertainment.

She added: “That’s the way I generally direct: It’s like, ‘This is what we all want – do your thing.’

The actress also revealed that Suri sang on Rare Objects, a project Katie also wrote, directed and starred in.

It’s unclear where Katie and Suri will spend the holidays, although Katie maintains a strong connection to her roots in Toledo, Ohio, including her parents and four siblings.

Although Katie is notoriously private about her personal life, she does occasionally comment about her family.

“I don’t know how my mother managed to raise all five of us,” she said in a 2009 interview with Glamor. “I have three sisters and three sisters-in-law; I learned from them. I’m inspired by them.’

In 2016, she told the New York Times: ““I am the youngest of five children, have three older sisters, am a mother of course and feel comfortable telling stories about female relationships because I have been surrounded by so many women my whole life.”
