Meghan Markle makes a statement after hosting Thanksgiving event without Prince Harry

Meghan Markle entered opinion to celebrate her Thanksgiving event last week, where she performed without her husband Prince Harry.

The pair are reportedly in the midst of a professional breakup, with some saying their working relationship has been “in a very bad state” since last month.

But Meghan didn’t let that stop her as she hosted an intimate gathering for the Southern California Welcome Project through the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation.

The event was intended to be a “hearty dinner.” Afghan women Resettlement to the USA.

According to the Archewell websiteThe statement said: “Led by partner organization Mina’s List, this initiative has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women resettled from Afghanistan to the United States.”

The evening reportedly included a dinner with candid conversations around “gratitude and resilience,” where the Duchess expressed her excitement for the upcoming gatherings.

“The Archewell Foundation remains committed to empowering women and fostering community through shared experiences, highlighting the importance of unity and support in difficult times,” the website says.

She is now Husband was in Vancouver to promote the upcoming 2025 Invictus Games.

They are expected to take part in the sporting event together from February 8th to 16th. Meghan had previously hinted that her children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – could be there.

insider Angela Levin said last month that Meghan and Harry were “planning their next steps” after the two had not been seen together in public for a while.

Meghan stayed at home with her children while the prince made several trips abroad, with many citing the “schedule conflicts” as a way to control her public image.

“He’s having problems with his visa,” Angela said. “The issue may be revisited and he may still not be able to stay there. Maybe that’s why they buy somewhere else.”

However, they appeared together in a video in honor of Veterans Day earlier this month, in which Harry admitted that the two had been at “a crossroads” professionally recently, according to the New York Post.

In the clip, they further discussed how they prioritize children’s online safety when using Archewell Foundation.

The Archewell Foundation began four years ago with a focus on improving mental health and wellbeing

The couple’s nonprofit was founded in 2020 and had one mission: “Show up, do good.”
