The Players Era Festival continues Wednesday in Las Vegas with a battle between two of college basketball’s most intriguing players: Alabama’s Mark Sears and Rutgers’ Dylan Harper.

The ninth-seeded Crimson Tide (5-1) and Scarlet Knights (5-1) will face off at MGM Grand Garden Arena at 10 p.m. ET, with the winner of Saturday’s game advancing to the Players Era Festival championship game for a chance to advance $500,000 in zero money.

Alabama picked up its first win of the season in Game 1 of the Impact Group against No. 7 Houston on Tuesday. In a battle between two of college basketball’s best teams that was reminiscent of a Final Four, the Crimson Tide defeated the Cougars 85-80 in overtime and trailed Sears by 24 points.

Rutgers also earned a thrilling overtime win against Notre Dame in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Leading the Scarlet Knights in their 85-84 win over the Irish was Harper, as the 6-foot-1 guard scored a career-high 36 points on 12-of-22 shooting with six rebounds and six assists.
