PlayStation Plus price cut makes subscribers angry – Playstation

The PlayStation Plus price cut is making subscribers angry

It causes chaos

Apparently there is a price reduction for PlayStation Plus as part of the Black Friday deals, but it is causing a lot of confusion.

The Black Friday deals are your best chance to score discounts on some of the latest games, such as: AstroBot, Star Wars Outlaws, Silent Hill 2 (2024) etc. Older games are also on offer, for example I picked them up Nier automata for £13 last night which I was very happy about.

If you can get it AstroBot While I would recommend this, it is still a contender for Game of the Year

In addition to the games and hardware discounts through PlayStation Plus, there are also discounts for new subscribers, but some users assume that this also applies to subscription renewals.

A Reddit thread asked fans to renew or upgrade their subscriptions at a discounted rate and claimed they would be offered a 25% discount for a new subscription.

Unfortunately, this deal doesn’t appear to be available to everyone, and it’s unclear that it’s an issue with the PlayStation side.

“I received a 20% discount on the renewal of my existing subscription. I guess it’s not for everyone,” one fan said, and another added that he was getting “30% off renewing my premium subscription for a year.”

Others claimed they couldn’t see discounts, others said they were only visible in the PlayStation app and not on the store page.

Finally, the original poster came back and recommended users turn off auto-renewal as it could cause technical issues that prevent you from seeing the discount.

However, if you see a discount on your site, whether through the console itself or the app, I highly recommend you take advantage of it and, as in the past, allow you to upgrade to Premium for a tiny price, I would recommend that even more .

However, make sure auto-renew is turned off if you don’t want any nasty surprises when your subscription expires.
