WILLMAR – The creators of the Jennie-O turkey brand are returning to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, this time with Grammy Award-winning artist, producer and songwriter T-Pain, who will perform a mashup of his No. 1 hits Jennie-O Big from above Turkey Spectacular float.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the Jennie-O float has participated in the parade, which is broadcast live to millions of viewers on Thanksgiving morning.

“I can’t wait to make my Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade debut on the Jennie-O float,” said T-Pain. “I have a few surprises in store to make it a lovely Turkey Day and celebrate the start of the holiday season!”

Jennie-O’s Big Turkey Spectacular Float made its parade debut in 2020. It is 36 feet long, 25 feet wide and 24 feet high. The glittering float is decorated in Jennie-O’s signature gold and green tones. It holds more than 200 pounds of glitter.

One of the float’s standout features are the turkey’s tail feathers, which are 25 feet wide and two stories tall. The springs are made of enough steel tubing to stretch the entire length of a regulation football field from end zone to end zone and can even release confetti during the parade.

“We are honored to be part of the legendary Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the fifth consecutive year,” said Kim Anderson, senior brand manager for the JENNIE-O brand. “This is an exciting time of year for our brand and partnering with legendary artist T-Pain will take our iconic ride to the next level. You won’t want to miss the Big Turkey Spectacular this year!”

Jennie-O has featured musicians every year. Bebe Rexha, Tai Verdes, Paula Abdul and Paul Russell performed in the 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 parades.

Jennie-O brand consumer engagement experts are again answering calls to the hotline 1-800-TURKEYS or responding via live chat on the brand’s website or by calling “Turkey” to 73876. Consumers can receive real-time support through December . 1 about the method that is most convenient for you. In the days leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, Jennie-O brand specialists are available 24/7.

The 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air nationally in the U.S. on NBC and stream on Peacock on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. CST. For more information, visit macys.com/parade. To get involved, check out @macys on various social platforms and follow #MacysParade.
